524 in the Credit Score Range

Ultimately, the higher your credit score is, the higher the chances that you can get financial assistance such as loans, mortgages, and even access to credit cards.

In general, there are different score breakdowns according to a range.

A credit score can usually range anywhere from 300 to 825.

That being said, a score from 700 to 850 is considered to be the best range, and an excellent credit score.

On the other hand, a score of 600 to 680 is considered to be average.

Unfortunately, a 524 credit score is considered to be poor. It’s not the worst, it only means you have either accumulated a lot of debt or you have a lot of over overdue payments in the past.
